On board and lodging On things to bring Activities Arte Dojo is sited in the Adalbert Stifter National Park in the Bavarian Forest, about 2 hours from Munich. The Bavarian and Bohemian Forests together form the largest national park in Europe. It offers a whole range of outdoor activities for recreation and the relaxation of body and mind. During the warm months there is a whole range of outdoor activities available: Boundless trails for walking, biking, horse riding as well as kayaking and paragliding. We provide bicycles and also rent out a double kayak. A little lake neraby is a nice place to cool down during the summer time. There are also paraglider starting points and wonderful kayaking routes at the origin of the Moldau river (lake Lipno) just some kilometers away. It is just great and inspiring to be out there. If you like, you are also welcome to help us a little in the garden or with other activities like making wood, kitchen etc. During the winter time you may go skiing (cross-country, nordic and alpine), sled riding or take walks on cleared winter footpathes and enjoy our sauna. The region is especially known for cross-country skiing! If you don't own skis, you may lent from us or rent. We also provides sleds and snow shoes. Winter time is a very relaxed time here, because most outdoor work is suspended. It is a good time to read, write, play music, meditatate or enjoy the beauty of a real winter. Once you are here, we will hand you maps as well as detailed informations about the cultural, historical and natural hot spots of the region.
